In 2000 I started the Photography program at Hawkeye Community College. I greatly enjoyed learning all aspects of the photography process. My only regret is that digital cameras were barely touched on at that time, although I am now learning the digital world.

I was fortunate enough to be able to learn Adobe Photoshop from Woody Walters. He taught me to love Photoshop, and to work through the frustration it can cause. All the frustration is worth it, because in the end, the results can be amazing. My time at ACI started in 1999 back in the shipping department. I left to pursue school and other avenues. August 2005, I returned to spend the busy season in shipping through December. In 2006 I was given first the opportunity to return to ACI permanently, and later that year to move to the customer service department.

This has been a wonderful experience for me in many ways. I love being able to talk to people, especially recognizing so many studios from shipping. This has broadened my view and appreciation of this business and all of our customers.
